Darts Solutions Inc
Darts Solutions Inc. leads a project in Ontario to create a standard language understood by developmental service organizations for sending and receiving information. Using the NIEM standard, this project ensures that information is well-understood and carries the same consistent meaning across systems, ultimately bringing together communities within the Development Service Sector.
As information storage shifted towards electronic platforms, Development Service Organizations (DSOs) faced a significant challenge in transferring information seamlessly between systems. With the increasing complexity of services and providers, the burden of data entry and information management grew exponentially.
Darts Solutions Inc. spearheaded a project to develop a Standard Information Transfer Schema (SITS) for DSOs, aimed at creating a common language for information exchange. Leveraging the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), DSI designed a robust framework that facilitated interoperability and data consistency across systems.
The implementation of SITS revolutionized information transfer within the DSO community. By standardizing data formats and protocols, organizations were able to streamline workflows, reduce manual data entry errors, and improve overall efficiency. DSI’s innovative solution fostered collaboration and interoperability, ultimately enhancing service delivery and outcomes.
Welcome to the new MyCommunityHub, a registration service dedicated to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities or Autism, along with their families and caregivers, in discovering and registering for programs and services within their community. It aims to enhance accessibility and promote participation in community activities, fostering inclusivity and engagement.
The Ministry wanted an online survey for women to complete after they receive services from an agency. The survey was designed with a comforting theme and an easy-to-use layout and was used by hundreds of agencies throughout Ontario. Abused women come from all walks of life and the Ministry wanted to ensure that the survey was both accessible and was offered in a variety of languages. We designed a survey that met all Ministry requirements, was robust and generated reports for each agency and the Ministry. Data was stored securely and the survey was offered in over 12 languages including many Aboriginal languages.
